Geography
Songkhla province covers an area about 7,393 square kilometers. Land on the north of the province looks like a penninsula. It is named Sathing Phra Penninsula. Land on the south of the province is rectangular. Both land on the south and west are connected by Tinsulanond Bridge. Most geography on the north of the province are plain. On the east is a coastline plain. On the south and west of province are mountains and plateau which are important, because the are the source of many riviers of the province.
Boundary
On the north side of the province borders Nakhon Si Thammarat and Phatthalung Province.
On the east side of the province is Gulf of Thailand.
On the south side of the province borders Yala Province, Pattani Province and Malaysia.
On the west side of the province borders Phattalung and Satun Province.
