Satun Province

 

General information

Satun province is a small silent province in south region of Thailand; Satun is located about 973 kilometers south away from Bangkok. Satun is a good destination for tourists who like the transquil beaches and islands with a long coastline about 144.8 kms. and 105 islands in Andaman Sea belong to the province.

Interesting

Because the majority of the locals are Muslim, visitors will see the great culture of local people. The primary islands of Tarutao National Park, the famous national park of Thailand, stun tourists with gorgeous landscape. This national park is the great one national park in Thailand. Underwater world, beaches, caves, and greenish forests are enchantment. Snorkelling will be found at Lipe island; Adnag island, Lipe island's neighbour, charms with high forest, grand hills and splendid waterfalls.

Abundance of interesting views which include dove farms, forest parks and enormous waterfall are around the province. Orthers national parks, such as, Thale Ban National Park is also the attraction with its plentiful wildlife, several waterfalls and caves.
