General information

Suphanburi Province is one of ancient province in Central Region, Thailand where located about 100 kilometre North away from Bangkok. The province satuated on the location of ancient town where believed age of the town is about 3500-3800 years old.

The location of province was once an important border town of Ayutthaya Kingdom and be important battles and wars during Ayutthaya period. From a long history in the past made the province is a good place for historical travel.

Suphanburi Province isn't only famous for it's many historical places. The other interesting destination like virious museums, numerous temples, building and several natural parks.

Phathara Rachinee Park is the public park where located Banharn - Jamsai Tower, the height tower in province is one of interesting in Mueang Suphanburi district.

In the term of natural resources, Bueng Chawak is one of perfect lake in Thailand where located many interesting like Exhibition Center for Aquatic Animals and Wildlife Extension Center.

In addition, the province has numerous old temples where attracts visitors with architesture, special image of Buddha and transquil atmosphere.
