Geography
Phetchaburi province covers an area of approximately 6,225 square kilometer. Geography of the province mostly be plain area. Geography on West of province is plateau and high slope mountain covered by natural resources, forests and mineral.
Tanaosri Range located on West of province where is the source of important rivers. The mountain range also be a natural border between Thailand and Myanmar. A 80 kilometer coastline towards the Gulf of Thailand located on East coast of province.
Phetchaburi River is an important river of province, overall length of the river is 210 kilometer, where flows from high mountain on West of the province through Kaeng Krachan district, Tha Yang district, Ban Lard district, Mueang Phetchaburi district and Ban Laem district to Gulf of Thailand.
Kaeng Krachan District is the largest district of province where covers about 40 percent of province's area.
Boundary
On North of province borders Amphawa district of Samut Songkhram and Pak Tor district of Ratchaburi province.
On West of province borders Myanmar.
On East of province is Gulf of Thailand.
On South of province borders Hua Hin District of Prachuap Kriri Khan Province.
