Geography

Pathum Thani Province covers an area approximately 1,525 square kilometer. Most geography of province are low-land, the average height is about 2.3 meter above sea level. Chao Phraya River is the important river which flows through the center of province at the area of Sam Khok and Mueang Pathum Thani district.

Chao Phraya River is the natural border which divides the province to 2 zone include right side of the river (West side of province) and left side of the river (East side of province)

On right side covers area of Lat Lum Kaeo district and some parts of Sam Khok and Mueang Pathum Thani district. On left side covers area of Thanyaburi, Khlong Luang, Nong Suea, Lam Luk Ka district and some parts of Sam Khok and Mueang Pathum Thani district.

Boundary

On North of province borders Bang Trai, Bang Pa In, Wang Noi district of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya and Nong Khrae, Viharn Daeng district of Saraburi.

On East of province borders Bang Nam Preaw district of Chachoengsao and Ong Ka Rak district of Nakhon Nayok.

On West of province borders Lad Bua Luaeng district of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Bang Laen district of Nakhon Pathom and Trai Noi district of Nonthaburi.

On South of province borders Nong Jok, Khlong Samwa, Sai Mai, Bang Kaen, Don Muaeng district of Bangkok and Pakkret, Bang Bua Thong district of Nonthaburi.
